[i] Environmental Economics and Management International forum[/i] 26-27 April 2010 Dessau-Roßlau This event is organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and its Real Estate Market Advisory Group (REM) in cooperation with the German Federal Environment Agency (UBA). It will be held on 26-27 April 2010 at UBA headquarters in Dessau-Roßlau, Germany. The forum will gather participants from the private sector, governments, inter-governmental organizations (IGOs) and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). Speakers are expected to describe and discuss ways the organizations they represent can contribute to the transition towards a green real estate sector, including existing challenges, obstacles and potential benefits. UNECE’s REM: Over the last two years, the Real Estate Market Advisory Group (REM) has contributed to the activities of the UNECE through capacity-building activities, dissemination of information on good practice and know-how on specific policy areas related to the real estate sector.
