Challenges and solutions for an integrated river basin approach in Europe

[i]Final FLAPP Conference[/i] Zaragoza, 13-14 June '07 Over 100 participants have already registered via this website for the final conference of the FLAPP network on 13 and 14 June 2007 in Zaragoza (Spain)! There are a few places left, therefore we have extended the registration deadline until 15 April '07. The closing event of the FLAPP project is meant for local, regional, national and EU policy and decision makers as well as for expert practitioners in the field of flood management. Moreover, other EU projects dealing with flood and calamity management are invited to present their results during a European project market. This conference offers a unique opportunity for water experts and decision makers from a variety of regions in Europe to meet each other and discuss the implementation of EU flood policies and regulations in their area. During a project market, several EU projects dealing with water or calamity management will present their results as well as plans for future interregional cooperation and EU funding.
