Design Ideas about Urban Spaces
along the Olona River

Castellanza, Marnate and Olgiate Olona (Varese, Italy)
Summer Workshop Urban and Architectural Design for the redevelopment of areas of the River Olona valley in the towns of Castellanza, Marnate and Olgiate Olona (Near Milan, MPX int airport, Como Lake, Italy).

OBJECT
The Municipalities of Castellanza, Marnate, and Olgiate Olona, the Department of Architecture and Planning at the Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy, organize 5 to 18 September 2011 a workshop open to students, graduates, PhD, in Architecture and Landscape Design, students, Erasmus student, graduates and young professionals.
The workshop is conceived as a design workshop space aimed at the urban regeneration of brownfield sites and the reconnection, as part of a proposed supra-unitary system, areas still in operation.

REGISTRATION AND CREDITS
Requests to participate must be sent no later than August 15, 2011
Acceptance of applications: August 30^th
Upon registration is required to pay a deposit of 50 Euro which will be returned at the conclusion of the workshop.
Participants will receive a a certificate of attendance.
